Thursday is the last day for the Roanoke City Market on the River and vendors plan on going out with a bang.
Nearly a dozen vendors will be at the final event at the River's Edge Sports Complex in Roanoke.
The goal is to attract new customers downtown by showing what the vendors have to offer.
Downtown Roanoke Inc. Market Manager Tracie Hughes believes the turnout shows there is a high demand for fresh produce and products in Southwest Virginia.
"We did one last year, a pop-up market at the (Kirk Family) YMCA which was phenomenal," Hughes said. "This has really blown that out of the water. The location, the timing, the accessible parking, all of that combined has really made this spectacular."
Food trucks including Bubblecake's new truck will be there for the final event.
City Market at the River runs from 4-7 p.m.
