Pulaksi Police investigate stabbing, prescription drug theft

Pulaski police are investigating after a man forced his way into a home in the 500 block of Pepper's Ferry Road, before stabbing a man and stealing prescription drugs.

Investigators say it happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

The victim, 64-year-old M. D. Rutherford was found by his brother Thursday morning. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the suspect entered the home by telling the victim that his car had broken down.
