Pulaski stabbing incident leads to lockdown, now lifted

Posted: Updated:

Pulaski Middle School is one of three schools that went on lockdown today. It has since been lifted. According to the Police Department, the Middle School Administration decided to do a "modified lockdown" because of a stabbing incident near the school. Around 10 p.m. Thursday night, a man knocked on the front door of a house in the 500 block of Pepper's Ferry Road.

The door was opened and the suspect stabbed the 64 year-old man inside, who was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for serious injuries.

The suspect then stole prescription drugs.
