Motorcyclist killed in Raleigh traffic collision

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A Raleigh man died Saturday after injuries he sustained in a collision while riding a motorcycle on Wake Forest Road, Raleigh police said. 

Police said Bradley Lawrence Pelletier, 52, was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Wake Forest Road near Creekside Drive at about 12:15 a.m. when he was hit by a car.

Lakesiha Yolanda Jones, 25, was attempting to turn left onto Creekside Drive when she hit Pelletier.

A police report said witnesses told police Pelletier had a green light. 

Pelletier was taken to WakeMed where he died later from his injuries. 

Jones, of Sanford, was charged with DWI and failure to yield the right of way.
