Roanoke City Council to discuss storm water fee today

ROANOKE -

Roanoke City Council will tackle several issues today during its regular meeting.

Council will get an update from the Roanoke Civic Center on its work to attract bigger acts to the Star City and the impact it's had on the local economy.

Council will also get a progress report on the much discussed storm water utility, which could be implemented as soon as this fall.

These issues will be discussed at council's 9 a.m. session.

Council will also meet at 2 p.m.
