Raleigh police searching for robbery suspect

RALEIGH, N.C. -

The Raleigh Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Aug. 17.

Police said detectives have warrants for the arrest of said Anthony Soloman Porter, 36, of Fayetteville. Porter faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Porter is wanted in connection with an incident where he and an unidentified person took money and a cell phone from two victims outside an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Ruark Court on Aug. 17.

Porter is a black male who stands about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
