ROANOKE, VA -

The 2013 Roanoke Greek Festival is underway. This is the eighth year for the three day event that includes live music, dancing, vendors and of course Greek food.

They made 10,000 kabobs and 200 pans of baklava about 16,000 pieces--- about 40% more than last year so they don't run out as quickly.

There's even a drive-thru.

Organizers say they aren't concerned about the rain and put up tents outside to keep it covered.

Inside, there are vendors selling pottery and food.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
30 Huntington Blvd. in Roanoke

The festival is open rain or shine.
Friday: 11 am - 10 pm
Saturday: 11 am - 10 pm
Sunday: Noon - 7 pm
