ROANOKE -

Virginia Lottery says Kenneth Parker from Roanoke matched the first five numbers in the August 16th Mega Millions drawing.

"Looks like I've won a little bit of money here," said Parker.

He bought the winning ticket at Minute Market, 5981 Cloverdale Road in Roanoke for $250,000. The winning numbers for that drawing were 7-13-26-36-46, Mega Ball 37.

The only number Parker did not match was the Mega Ball number, which would have won him a jackpot estimated at $43 million.

His ticket was one of just five nationwide to win Mega Millions' second prize in the August 16th drawing.

Parker, who is retired, said he has no immediate plans for his winnings.
