Roanoke City is looking for help as it plans the long term future of downtown.
Wednesday night the city will host a town hall style meeting to get public input before creating a plan.
The goal is to make sure all options are considered before any major investments are made.
"It's imperative that you have the public input and public buy in from the beginning," said Roanoke City Planner Frederick Gusler. "We have to get the publics take on things and there is a lot of things often that the public brings to our attention that we just overlook or don't see at all."
The meeting is Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Charter Hall, inside the City Market Building.
