Dozens of people lined up Wednesday morning to shop at the new Goodwill store in the Hunting Hills area in Roanoke. This is the third Goodwill store in the Star City. The first person in the door waited outside about an hour and a half before the grand opening. Mayor David Bowers helped take part in the "tie cutting" to mark the opening.
"It was a wonderful turnout," says Bruce Phipps, President and CEO of Roanoke Valley Goodwill. "One of our largest turnouts I can remember and we're just pleased people support Goodwill and the impact we make."
