The History Channel show 'American Pickers' put out a call to the Commonwealth this month, looking for people with unique and valuable antiques.

The show visited Pittsylvania County in 2011, and made purchases from some folks.  The episode debuted on January 23, 2012.

The History Channel series "American Pickers" is coming to film in Virginia this November and they are looking for interesting local characters with interesting items, to be featured on the show.
