Local business in running for Super Bowl ad

SALEM, VA -

Intuit, the company behind Quicken and Quickbooks is giving a local business a shot at its own commercial during the Super Bowl but the woman owned company needs your help and votes right now.

Krista Stevenson owns Go Green Cleaning in Roanoke. She started her business five years ago.

Krista entered Intuits' contest and has now advanced to round two. She's trying to get votes right now because the entries will soon be narrowed down to 20. Intuit will cover the cost of developing and producing a 30-second commercial for the winning business and pay for the advertising time during the Super Bowl in February.

Krista says winning an ad in the big game would be quite the score. "I particularly know how hard it is to start a small business without having a lot of money so having Intuit come in and offer a Super Bowl commercial to give a small business a chance is juts a great opportunity," she said.

You can see Krista's entry and vote for her here.
