Two families who know all too well what it's like to have a child disappear teamed up to raise awareness for a national missing persons campaign.

It's an event WSLS has been telling you about all week. The families of Alexis Murphy and Morgan Harrington participated in the CUE "On the Road to Remember" national tour.

The campaign promotes 102 people who have disappeared and six unsolved murder cases. The event was held today at the Lovingston Café in Nelson County.

Alexis Murphy, 17-year old, was last seen on August 3rd. Morgan Harrington, 20-year old, disappeared in October 2009.

Harrington's body was found a few months later in January and no arrests have been made in the case.
