The blue thumbs up is a sign of approval coveted by not just personal Facebook users, but businesses owners hoping more 'likes' translates into more customers and more money.

"A lot of brands struggle with how to get likes and comments on Facebook," HEYO CEO Nathan Latka says.

The Blacksburg social media company HEYO is providing a free way for anyone to run a Facebook promotion to help your business grow with it's 'Timeline Contest Creator.'

Contests like this weren't possible until Facebook changed it's rules more than a month ago. Now, more than one million 'likes' have been generated through the creator and more than 61,000 comments.

It allows you to generate free promotional templates for contests, coupons, and give-away's. You can even use the tool to randomly pick a winner for the contest.

On Thursday, October 10th, HEYO is offering a special deal for free to anyone who would like help generating a contest on their Facebook page. The HEYO team will be available at 1 p.m. on 902 Prices Fork Road in Blacksburg.
