Franklin County investigators identify remains found in vehicle

FRANKLIN COUNTY -

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has identified the human remains found in a burned vehicle on Sunday.

DNA analysis confirmed it to be 53-year-old Vicky Harbour Purdy of Henry County.

The remains were found on Philpott Road.

There sheriff's office is continuing to search for information related to the fire or anyone who had recent contact with the victim.
