Cox Communications leadership changes in Roanoke

Posted: Updated:

Cox Communications announces leadership changes for its Roanoke Operations.

Cox named Vonya Alleyne as its new Market Vice President.

Alleyne will now be responsible for leading Cox's 150 employees in its day-to-day operations.

Alleyne is currently serving as Vice President, Human Resources for Cox Virginia -- which she will continue to do in addition to her new responsibilities in Roanoke.

She replaces Kim Henderson, who says she is leaving Cox to spend more time with her family.

Cox Communications also named Margaret-Hunter Wade as Public Affairs Manager.

Wade will take on more responsibility for leadership in community relations, employee communication, and government relations duties.
