    Lynchburg Police are investigating after a man went to Lynchburg General Hospital's Emergency Room with stab wounds. On Saturday around 6:30 a.m. police were called to the hospital.Michael Payne, 33 from Lynchburg, had with several stab wounds to his chest and stomach. Payne told officers was visiting a friend in the 1200 block of Peirce Street when he was attacked and stabbed by Jamel Owen Davis, 29 from Lynchburg man.
