LewisGale Hospital Montgomery celebrated a major life milestone with one of their most dedicated volunteers.
Lee Brown, a longtime volunteer is celebrating his 100th birthday this month.
Since 2006, Lee has volunteered more than 3100 hours at the hospital.
He and wife moved to the area to be closer to their son after losing almost everything in Hurricane Katrina.
Since then hospital officials say he has played a vital role in assisting patients.
Tuesday they surprised Brown with a birthday celebration.
