Jurors to remain anonymous in upcoming Bill White trial

Posted: Updated:
ROANOKE, VA -

Jurors in the upcoming criminal trial of Neo-Nazi Bill White will be anonymous.

A federal judge approved a motion earlier this week to conceal jurors' identities during the proceedings.  They will be identified by numbers rather than names and only their zip codes and the city / county where they live will be given to prosecutors and defense attorneys.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says it made the request because White has previously been convicted of soliciting a crime of violence against a juror.

White was indicted on four counts back in February for allegedly threatening a woman and trying to extort alimony payments from her.
