The weather was perfect and the crowd was festive at Wasena Park Saturday morning in Roanoke.
More than two hundred people participating in the Freedom First Spooky Sprint 5k which translates into eight thousand dollars for the nutrition program at West End Center.
West End Center provides an after school atmosphere for kids that focuses on leadership, tutoring and mentoring children in Roanoke.
The facility serves about two hundred children each year. This was the largest group to come out to support the 5k.
