Man arrested for Chapel Hill break-ins

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

The Chapel Hill Police Department said it has arrested a man for a series of break-ins in the Market Street area of Southern Village in Chapel Hill.

Caleb Hopkirk-Ridlen Hill faces one felony count of attempted breaking or entering a building, three felony counts of larceny after breaking and entering, four felony counts of breaking and/or entering, and five misdemeanor counts of injury to real property for the break-ins on Nov. 7.

Police said Hill was transported to the Orange County Jail where he was held under a $25,000 secured bond. 

Hill will have a first appearance in court on Nov. 8 in Hillsborough.
