Campbell County agencies assist with 4th annual soup fundraiser

Local potters have again joined forces with the Campbell County Rural Emergency Assistance Program (REAP), Youth, Adult and Community Services and the Campbell County Recreation Department to offer the fourth annual Empty Bowls soup fundraiser in an effort to raise funds for the REAP Food Pantry, which is located in the Department of Social Services. 

The Campbell County Empty Bowls event will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (lunch) and 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (dinner) at the Ruritan Club in Rustburg, Virginia.  Citizens may make a donation of any amount to the Rural Emergency Aid Program (REAP) to receive all-you-can eat soup and bread.
