Santa Claus is coming to Valley View Mall

Posted: Updated:
ROANOKE -

Santa will arrive at Valley View Mall in style, aboard one of the Roanoke City Fire Department's trucks.

The truck will take a lap around the ring road with sirens blaring and lights flashing.

The truck will park outside of JCPenney on the upper level and Santa will be greeted by the Lucy Addison Middle School's marching band.

Santa will then head to his new home for the holidays on the lower level outside of Belk.

The band will march through the district, stopping to play one or two holiday songs next to Barnes and Noble, and then they will parade around the lower level, led by Chick-fil-A's "Fireman Cow," "Santa Cow," and "Elf Cow."

Santa will be available at Valley View through Christmas Eve, Monday – Saturday from 10am – 9pm; and Sundays, 11am – 6pm.
