Woman charged with having handgun in parking lot of Raleigh school

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A 38-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with having a gun on school property, Raleigh Police confirmed Tuesday.

Kristina Janel Rowe  arrested Tuesday and charged with having  a gun at River Oaks Middle School at 4700 New Bern Avenue.

Police said the discovery was made by officers following up on a disturbance call at another location.
