ROANOKE -

After a tremendous harvest for the year, the Roanoke Community Garden Association is celebrating.

RCGA served over 300 gardeners this year at our five community gardens and we were served by over 500 dedicated volunteers in 2013.

The "Garden Harvest" event will be held at Lee Hi Lanes Friday night, November 15th in Salem.

The event runs from 9-12 p.m. and the public is invited to join in. $20 gets you in the door with shoe rentals and unlimited bowling for then night.

There will also be a silent auction with items totaling over $1700 from local merchants and individuals and a 50/50 raffle.
