Ferrum rolled out their first-ever varsity wrestling match on campus Wednesday night.  They took on Washington & Lee in a matchup of Virginia's only two Division III wrestling programs.  The Panthers club level program  was discontinued almost 25 years ago.  And Ferrum gets a big win over the Generals--riding three forfeits and two pins along with a  decision victory to win the dual...going away--by a score of 33-15.

Paul Biggs (149 lbs) and Sean Murphy (157) sparked Ferrum College to a non-conference wrestling win with a pair of pins tonight at Swartz Gym.  Ferrum (1-0) picked up forfeit wins at 125, 133 and 141. The Generals (0-1) won decisions at 165, 174, and 285, and won at 197 on a disqualification.
