Roanoke County Police have arrested a man in connection with Tuesday's nights shooting at a home on Starkey Road in Roanoke County.

Robert Benjamin Fisher has been identified as the shooter in the investigation. He's been charged with two counts of malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in commision of a felony. Fisher is currently being held in the Roanoke County/Salem jail without bond.

6:57 p.m.

Roanoke County Police Assistant Chief Chuck Mason says a man and woman were shot around 6:00 p.m.  Both are expected to recover.

Officers are still searching for one additional person, who is believed to have a handgun.


6:50 p.m.

WSLS 10's Erin Brookshier is on the scene.  The shooting is at a home on Starkey Road, near Delta Dental, about 1/2 from the RAC.


6:29 p.m.

Roanoke County Police confirm there's been a shooting on the 4000 block of Starky Road.

We are sending a crew to the scene.
