Fallen tree leaves about 1800 without power for four hours

SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -
About 1,900 Appalachian Power customers were without power for more than four hours Tuesday night as a winter storm approached the Tri-Cities Region.
The outages occurred in Sullivan County, Tennessee and Wise County, Virginia.   More than 1,700 occurred in Sullivan County alone.
According to an Appalachian Power spokesperson, the outage was caused by a tree that fell on a main line just after 5 p.m..
Heavy rain moved out of the Tri-Cities Wednesday night ushering in calm conditions before the anticipated arrival of snowfall Wednesday morning.
