Governor Bob McDonnell will honor several Native American tribes at the annual Tax Tribute Ceremony today at 10 a.m. in Richmond. The ceremony will recognize the Treaty of Middle Plantation, which preserves Virginia Indian Lands.

Double amputee veteran Rob Jones is continuing his biking journey through Southwest Virginia today. He's working to raise $1 million for veterans charities. Today, he'll be biking through Lexington, Buchanan and Blacksburg.

Dave Prosser of Freedom First Credit Union will speak at Roanoke's Kiwanis Club luncheon today. He'll focus on the West End Neighborhood and the credit union's role in its redevelopment.
