Salem thunder Valley break-in suspect caught in SE Virginia

SALEM, VA -

Salem City Police say the man wanted in connection with a break-in at Thunder Valley has been caught on the other side of the state.

Officers tell WSLS that Robert Newberry was arrested in James City County recently.  As of November 25th, Newberry was charged with 14 crimes in Salem.

Investigators say surveillance cameras recorded Newberry breaking into and causing damage at the popular batting cage, go-kart, and mini-golf business during the overnight hours of Friday, November 1st to Saturday, Nov. 2nd.
