Fuller Earns ACC Defensive Rookie Honors

    Another day, another honor for a young Hokie defensive back.  Second team All-ACC cornerback Kendall Fuller-- a true freshman---has captured the ACC Defensive rookie of the year award.  Fuller led the team with six interceptions and was second with 10 passes broken up. Also honored today Duke's David Cutcliffe- He is the ACC Coach of the year for the second straight season.  Duke has a school record ten wins and will play Florida State Saturday for the ACC title. The Blue Devils are ranked 20th in the nation.  Meanwhile Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is the ACC Rookie of the year. His 3,490 yards passing are a conference record for rookies and his 35 touchdowns are one shy of the league's single-season record. Florida State has just completed a 12-0 regular season and they come into the ACC title game as the number one ranked team in the nation.
