Lynchburg Police say they found a wrecked 2002 burgundy Honda Accord around 8 a.m. Friday morning. They believe the car could have been driven by Jamisha Gilbert. Lynchburg police have shut down the hotline for the Gilbert investigation. At this time, anyone with information on the case is asked to call 1-888-798-5900.

3:17 p.m.

Lynchburg police say they have found a woman's body. At this time they will not confirm the identity of the body.

UPDATE: Wednesday 12:15 p.m.

The Lynchburg Police Department has roped off a building on Concord Turnpike and Pleasant Valley. There is heavy police presence in this area. Part of Pleasant Valley Road has also been shutdown. Investigators say a press conference related to missing teen Jamisha Gilbert will be held later this afternoon.
