Some Triangle post offices extending holiday hours

RALEIGH, N.C. -

The United States Postal Service announced the opening or extending of Saturday retail hours for some Triangle-area Post Offices during the last two weekends before the Christmas holiday.

The extension will affect only the selected offices on December 14 and December 21.

The extended hours are designed to help alleviate the holiday rush and provide additional mailing and shipping convenience to customers
