Police investigating cause of Rutrough Road explosion

Roanoke County Police Department is working together with other localities to determine the cause of an explosion.  
It happened around five Friday night., in the 2600 block of Rutrough Road.

Police say upon arrival, they found someone burnt from the explosion.

That person was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial, but was then been transferred to Wake Forest Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police are not releasing that person's name at this time.

Police did say the explosion was limited to one structure.
