Business Lounge expanding into Grandin Village

Posted: Updated:
The Business Lounge is expanding into Grandin Village.

It's a co-working space for start-ups and small businesses.

The concept has become such a hit, the group has outgrown the downtown Roanoke location.

The lounge is moving from their 2,500 square foot space to a building with 10,000 square feet on Grandin Avenue.

The new space will be called 'CoLab' and will include the Business Lounge.

Director of Communication, Taylor Ricotta says demand is high and in the last year they've had 40 different businesses utilize the lounge.

The lounge will also be collaborating with Virginia Western  Community College to offer seminars on how to succeed in owning a business.

Ricotta says it'll offer more room for events, seminars, and workshops.

It should be open by February.
