Georgia can establish itself as a top-tier beast if it gets by South Carolina this weekend - and USC would drop to 0-2 in the league with a loss. Tennessee travels to Oklahoma, where Coach Bob Stoops doesn't believe the SEC is all-powerful.

LOS ANGELES (RNN) – The Alabama Crimson Tide fell to the UCLA Bruins 75-67 on Saturday.

It's the third consecutive loss for the Crimson Tide (5-7).

Alabama overcame a 20-10 deficit early in the first half to lead at halftime 34-33. The Bruins (11-2) took a short lead as the second half began, and after going back and forth for a few minutes, UCLA pulled away to victory.

One player UCLA could not stop was Alabama guard Trevor Releford.

Releford came off the bench with a few minutes remaining in the first half, and began his torrid scoring stretch of 34 points, five steals and two rebounds. The career-high day for Releford came in just 34 minutes where he also went six-for-six at the free throw line, six-of-nine from downtown and 11-of-15 from the floor.

Alabama made 70.6 percent of its free throw attempts, but went nine-of-22 from 3-point range and 22-of-52 from field goal range.

The Crimson Tide hosts the Robert Morris Colonels on Saturday, Jan. 4.
