4 arrested in Raleigh's first murder of 2014

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Four men are in custody in connection with the Jan. 4 murder of Joshua Ramone Smith.

Raleigh Police say Smith, 21, was shot at 7000 Glenwood Avenue, and then driven to a Burger King at 6500 Glenwood Avenue by a 2007 Ford Mustang.

Smith was transported to WakeMed where he later died.

On Sunday, police arrested Ussef Kamara, 21, Troy Michael Williamson, 22, Luis Herrera, 21, and Raheem Crossley, 23, in connection with Smith's death.

The four men are each charged with murder.

Kamara told police he was at the scene at the time of the murder.

Kamara has multiple drug convictions, including possession with intent to sell in 2011, according to the Department of Public Safety website.
