Rarely can a top scoring threat--not be keyed upon without success. The Miami Heat are probably the exception--and Floyd County.   It only takes a couple minutes of watching the Buffaloes before you realize they've got a scoring machine..and a whole lot of weapons that can damage you if you choose to focus on number 10.

Senior guard Caleb Tanner is torching the twine on a record pace.  Tanner is averaging just under 45 points per game..along with more than 3 steals and nearly 6 rebounds per game.  He's shooting 56 percent from the field..and oh..by the way-- His team..the Buffaloes of Floyd..are 8-1 on the young season. His coach, Brian Harman, says what means a lot to him is that the team plays as a team--they are all unselfish, and they all look for Tanner as a threat. What separates Floyd from many other teams, is that the rest of his teammates can all knock down shots--making him even more dangerous. The Floyd boys are 8-1 after a win over Gate City in the Chance Harman Classic. They are scheduled to host Eastern Montgomery on Thursday night.
