FLOYD COUNTY, VA -

A Floyd County woman is being recognized for her work in creating all natural treats for man's best friend.

Lila wills has worked in animal rescue for more than 20 years and says she's always dreamed of opening a "barkery." She opened Possum Hollow Barkery inside an old country store in Floyd about three years ago. Lila bakes, packs and delivers her treats to 20 different retailers across the area.

She says she uses only the best ingredients, including free range eggs, whole wheat pastry flour and natural peanut butter. "It's really important, especially to have it natural," Wills said. "That's what people have wanted. When I've heard people because there's been so many recalls with pet treats, with dog food and things like that. Now they say, I know where these are coming from."

Lila was just profiled in the Top Women In the Pet Industry Biz Book for her work toward animals.
