LEXINGTON, KY (RNN) - The No. 14 Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 68-51 Tuesday night.

The Wildcats (14-4, 4-1 SEC) led the entire game, with the Aggies trailing by as many as 21 points late in the second half.

Texas A&M (12-6, 3-2 SEC) shot 52 percent from the foul line but were only 19 of 51 from the floor and two of eight from downtown. The Aggies were outrebounded 43-26 and managed only two blocks the entire contest.

Kentucky shot 66.7 percent from the free throw line and 44 percent from the floor but only made six of its 21 3-point attempts. The Wildcats turned the ball over four more times than the Aggies, 15 to 11.

Forward Alex Poythress was Kentucky's leading scorer with 16 points off the bench, with guard James Young and forward Julius Randle scoring 15 and 13 points, respectively. For the Aggies, forward Davonte Fitzgerald and guard Alex Caruso both scored 12 points.

In their next game, the Wildcats will host the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET. The Aggies will return home for their next game to welcome the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
