Syria peace talks are underway in Switzerland today. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived early this morning. It will involve international diplomats, Syrian government delegates and opposition members.

U.S. Senator Tim Kaine's five day tour of the Commonwealth will bring him to Southwest Virginia today. He'll be in Danville to speak during an all day economic summit at the Institute for Advanced Learning.

Senator Mark Warner will be in Lynchburg today. He'll speak to a gathering of the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce at 8:30 a.m. at Liberty University then at Liberty's Convocation. Warner will head to Forest just before 11 a.m. to tour a new tech facility.

There's a free Diabetes Support Group meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m.. It's being held at the Twin County Wellness Center in Galax.
