ROANOKE, VA - Monday morning update:

Roanoke Fire-EMS says it needs your help to find out who intentionally set a fire in the 2200 block of Melrose Ave. on Saturday night. The fire was reported at approximately 7:50 p.m. When crews arrived they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the side of the vacant house. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Roanoke Fire Marshal's Office at (540)853-2795.

Sunday update:

The cause of the fire in the 2200 block of Melrose Ave. is under investigation.

When crews arrived they found heavy flames coming from the house.

Damage estimates are approximately $11,700.

Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a house fire Saturday around 8 p.m.

It happened in the 2200 block of Melrose Avenue.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
