Jury selection is today for ex-New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. He is at the center of a corruption case that began at the end of his second term. Nagin has pled not guilty to federal bribery and fraud charges.

Also in New Orleans, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will speak to the National Auto Dealers Association. The association represents more than 16,000 new car and truck dealerships nationwide.

A special election recount begins this morning at 8:00 in Virginia's 6th Senate district. Democrat Jennifer Wexton leads by nine votes. The winner will control the state Senate.

Beginning today and through next month the Bedford Regional Water Authority will perform smoke tests on part of its sewer system. The goal is to identify sources of unwanted rain and ground water entering the system.

Benny Marconi's pizza in downtown Roanoke is hosting a cash mob from 11:00 a.m. to midnight to benefit Roanoke Community Garden Association. A portion of today's sales will go to the food and community-focused nonprofit ahead of this year's growing season.
