Roanoke City Police investigates CVS robbery on Orange Ave.

ROANOKE -

The Roanoke City Police Department responded to the CVS Pharmacy in the 1900 block of Orange Avenue on Saturday to investigate a call about a robbery.

Police say the suspect is a black male wearing a black jacket, a white scarf over the bottom portion of his face, black rimmed glasses, black gloves, blue jeans, and brown Timberland style work boots.

The suspect demanded money from a store clerk, and after taking an undisclosed amount, the suspect left ton a bicycle and headed east.

Police say the suspect has some similar characteristics to the person who robbed Loan Max on January 22nd on Williamson Road.
