President Barack Obama takes to the road to gain support for the agenda he laid out during Tuesday night's State of the Union address. He'll visit two states today, a Costco store in Maryland and a steel plant near Pittsburgh.

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on a farm bill compromise later today. The Senate passed the five year, half a trillion dollar bill in June. After months of negotiations both parties announced a compromise was reached.

Goodwill is partnering with Wells Fargo for a job fair this morning. Head to the Roanoke Jobs Campus on Melrose Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Roanoke County Fire & Rescue will take part in a job fair at the Salem Civic Center from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Workers will share how to become a career firefighter or paramedic.

Virginia Tech's new athletic director will be introduced to the community this afternoon. Whit Babcock will be joined by current President Charles Steger and future President Timothy Sands for the news conference starting at 12:15.

The NFL will turn New York's Times Square into Super Bowl Boulevard in advance of this weekend's Super Bowl. 13 blocks of Times Square will be transformed today through Sunday, complete with live concerts and a 60 foot toboggan run.
