The retired Florida police officer accused of shooting and killing a man over texting at a movie theater will be in court today. The hearing will focus on possible evidence and cell phone records.

Re-testing for Tuberculosis begins today for the 150 students and staff first tested at William Fleming High School. This is part of an ongoing health department investigation that began when a student tested positive and showed signs of TB back in November.

The United Way of the Roanoke Valley will have its awards and 90th Anniversary celebration at the Hotel Roanoke today. It's today at noon.

This morning, the National Association of Realtors will release the figures for pending home sales from December. It's expected the number will drop. It measures housing contract activity for existing single-family homes, condos, and co-ops -- where a real estate contract was signed, but hasn't yet closed.
