ROANOKE COUNTY -

Hollins Theatre is setting up for a big event next week. The University, Mill Mountain Theatre and the city of Roanoke are hosting the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

It includes workshops, competitions and a production festival.

1,000 students, faculty and VIPs from twelve states will be here for the event.

"It means that we are not only going to become more closely affiliated with our colleagues around the state but it also will hopefully boost our profile in the region and with students," said Ernie Zulia, the Hollins Theatre Department Chairman.

You can be part of the Winter Festival next month. A play called "Ben and Rita" will run February 18-23 on the Mill Mountain Theatre's Waldron Stage. For more information visit the Mill Mountain Theatre website.
