Posted: Updated:
UPDATE: Radford University officials confirm to WSLS that repairs to the broken crane were completed Sunday, and all campus buildings will be open on Monday.  Main Street also reopened Sunday afternoon.

Original Story:
Radford University officials sent out an emergency early Sunday morning warning everyone that certain buildings on campus were closed.

"Due to a potential safety hazard involving a construction crane at the new Science Building construction site the buildings will be closed until further noticed: Martin/Preston Halls, Curie/Reed Halls and McConnell Library. RUPD asks that you avoid those areas," the alert stated.
