Lawyers for former Governor Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, are set to square off with prosecutors this morning over who the former first couple can speak with prior to their July trial on corruption charges. A federal magistrate judge has set a hearing for this morning at 10 a.m.

New Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen will be sworn-in today. She is the first woman to head the agency. Yellen replaces Ben Bernanke, who served for eight years.

Roanoke Police Chief Chris Perkins will address city council this morning. He will brief members on the reorganization of the department and review the 2013 crime statistics.

Roanoke County's Stormwater Advisory Committee will begin making recommendations today to the board of supervisors. The presentation is from 6-8 p.m. at the South County Library.

Octomom Nadya Suleman will be in a Los Angeles court today. She's pled not guilty to charges of welfare fraud. She's accused of failing to report $30,000 in income when she applied for public assistance. If convicted, she could face at least five years in prison.
