NRV radio station brings NASH FM to listeners

RADFORD, VA -

Changes are coming to country music radio in the New River Valley.

Cumulus announced the station formerly known as WPSK will now be known as NASH 107.1. It's adopting the NASH FM Country music and lifestyle brand.

The station will still offer local programming but one change you will notice as you tune-in on your way to work is come Monday, the morning show will be hosted by the syndicated America's Morning Show live from New York.

One of the voices you'll no longer hear is host Scott Stevens who's been on in the early hours over the last 20 years. "I'm really looking forward to hearing the show and being part of it," Stevens said. "We're still going to be intensely local, still going to have contests and live broadcasts we've always done here in the NRV. It's just we have a great new entertainment program with Blair Garner and America's Morning Show."

Stevens says home for him will still be with Cumulus where he's operations manager of six stations. He'll also be out in the community at live broadcasts.
